GoldPesa Review

What is GoldPesa?

GoldPesa is a project that uses blockchain technology to promote the shift of financial markets and their related investment options. It aims to do this by allowing people to buy physical gold coverage using GPX tokens, which are based on ERC-20.

The GPX Token

The GPX token is a special kind of token, its price is the regular market price of gold plus a little extra (1%). Hybrid tokens like this are usually linked to other valuable stuff like assets or money. The price can go up and down.

Each GPX token is like having 1 gram of real gold. It’s a special kind of token made using a certain technology ERC20, which works with Ethereum Virtual Machine blockchains. These blockchains make transactions quick, keep your money safe, and use smart contracts.

When you buy GPX tokens, carried out via ERC20 smart contracts. This contract also makes sure that the number of tokens always matches the amount of gold we have.

they use a reliable type of blockchain Polygon, which a lot of people trust. It’s safe and nobody can control it once the tokens are out there.

GPX tokens are a bit of a middle-risk investment. If the price of gold and their smart trading algorithm do well, the value of GPX tokens can go up.

GoldPesa Option Token (GPO)

The GoldPesa Option Token (GPO) is a special kind of token. It’s like having a coupon that lets you buy 1 new GPX token at the regular gold price plus a bit more (1%).

The Founder of GoldPesa?

GoldPesa was created by Shamik Raja, a smart computer engineer. He knows a lot about digital stuff, programming, goods like gold, and fancy math.

From 2001 to 2006, Raja went to the University of British Columbia in Canada and studied Electrical & Computer Engineering. He spent years studying how to use computer calculations to buy valuable stuff like gold in different countries.

GoldPesa is like a mix of Raja’s 8 years of working with valuable metals and more than 20 years of being really good at math and engineering.

GoldPesa Roadmap

In December 2019, GoldPesa was just a dream. Fast forward to October 2021, they achieved a significant milestone by selling 5 million GPO tokens and listing GPO on their own GoldPesa DEX, (Uniswap).

The journey continued with a Netflix feature in October 2022, and by January 2023, 13 million GPO tokens were sold. May 2023 marked another step forward as GoldPesa embraced Polygon and introduced the GoldPesa Liquidity Protocol.

Looking ahead, October 2023 brings the GoldPesa Academy, and in November 2023, the highly anticipated GPX token will be officially launched, accompanied by the introduction of GoldPesa Mines.

GoldPesa Smart Contract

The contract source has been verified. The wallet of the creator holds less than 5% of the total circulating tokens. Additionally, all other token holders also have less than 5% of the circulating token supply, which is a positive situation.

However, there are concerns about the source code. It includes a Pausable contract that could potentially stop transfers. There’s also a function that can change the transaction fee.

Moreover, the contract has ownership functionality, and the ownership has not been renounced. This means the creator or current owner could alter how the contract works, like disabling selling, modifying fees, or creating more tokens. This could be a problem, as it’s essential to ensure transparency and fair functionality of the contract.

Conclusion

The project started as an idea in 2019 and has made big steps by 2023. But, there’s a problem with how it’s set up. Some parts could let people stop transactions, change fees, and have too much control. This might not be fair and could cause issues. The people in charge need to fix these problems to make sure everything is fair and safe for everyone using the project.
